Scrap The Boys June Challenge

I've managed to get one more June challenge
done before the end of the month!

This one is the June Challenge at Scrap The Boys
Its a sketch challenge this month-

Here is my layout. I just love this 'grungy' sketch,
and I thought my 'grungy' background suited my
'getting messy'-themed photos.

I've used my go-to embellies from Charm's Creations
as well as some washi, resin stars, a Heidi Swapp banner,
and some cameras I fussy cut from a sheet of Becky Higgins Project Life 12x12 paper.

White .. With 1 (entry 2) and Charm's Creations June/July Mid-Monthly Challenge

I love the colour challenge at White... With 1 this month and I couldn't help but do another entry.

Here is my layout. This is a photo of my son's new shoes for his 2nd Birthday.

My other entry for this Challenge was a photo of my sister and I, so I made the page very feminine, with flowing, swirly patterns. This one is so much more masculine and grungy.

Also the rules have been relaxed a little so I am also entering this in the Charm's Creations June/July Mid-Monthly Challenge as well. The challenge is a tic-tac-toe challenge.

I went for the WASHI/SOMETHING NEW/RESIN line - with the washi being the arrow washi, the 'something new' being the Charm's Creations X and O, and resin stars.

These are the X O's - so cool!!

Kraft + June Challenge: In the Jungle

The June challenge at Kraft + is right on trend -

ANIMAL PRINT + CIRCLES

Here is my layout-

I've used some photos of my son when he was a baby, wearing his matching minky nappy on his favourite minky cot blankie.

I've used some new embellies from Charm's Creations.

Scrap the Girls June Challenge

This is the gorgeous mood board for the Scrap the Girls June Challenge-

This is the first time I've had a go at the Scrap The Girls challenge. Having a husband and 2 boys I'm the only girl in our household, so I took inspiration from the "Love Yourself More" quote on the mood board and decided to scrap myself!

This layout took me quite a while to be happy with, which happens quite a lot when I am scrapping photos of myself. But I like how it turned out. And it gave me a chance to use pink!!

A close up of the embellie cluster.

I've used a brush script quote from Polka Dot Creative that Jodie has generously put up as a freebie on her website to be available to print out to use for the #myselfiescrapbook project. I thought it was appropriate for the mood board.

123 Challenge Blog June Challenge

Another awesome challenge for June at 123 Challenge Blog.

Here is my layout.

I used the HELLO stamp from the Amy Tan stitched collection to stamp my background then stitched right over the top in a couple of colours to make a feature.

I chose the basket weave background paper and stitching to represent my theme of 'close knit' family.

D'Lish Scraps June Inspiration Board Challenge

What an awesome colour scheme for the D'Lish Scraps June Inspiration Board!

Here is my layout.

I turned the sketch 90 degrees to accommodate my vertical photo. I really liked the film strip too so I was inspired to use that. I also used some grey chevron and some black and white polka dot washi to match some of the images in the Inspiration Board.

My embellies are from Charm's Creations, and also a couple of flair.

I lifted the yellow chevron strips up to give them some dimension.

Scrapbooking Top 50 Australia June Challenge

I'm having a go at the June challenge at Scrapbooking Top 50 Australia. This month's challenge is a colour challenge, with an image for inspiration.

Here is my layout. I didn't use the image, but used the 3 colours of the palette - red, blue and yellow.

And some close ups.

White...With 1 June Challenge

This month's colour at White ...With 1 is one of my absolute favourites

And here is my layout.

I've used Kaisermists through my favourite Kaisercraft damask stencil as the background, and added some Heidi Swapp stars, and hand-made embellies from Charm's Creations and  Rainbow Splendour.

Show Us Your Stuff June Challenge

It's winter here and the cold is really starting to settle in, a good time to stay inside and scrap!

This month is another GORGEOUS moodboard to play

Here is my layout. I took inspiration from the image of the blue and orange candles. As usual my hand-made embellies are from Charm's Creations and Flutterby Designs (my go-to embellies!!)
